Exodus 23:14-33, 24-25; Matthew 24:29-51; Psalms 30:1-12; Proverbs 7:24-27
“You turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.
Lord my God, I will praise you forever.”
(Psalms 30:11-12 NIV)
For a time of listening prayer, consider asking the following questions of the Lord:
Father God, what does it look like for me to have your joy?
Father God, is their a grief in my life that I have not turned over to you? What do you want to do with it today?
Father God, what would it look like for me to “not be silent” in praising you?
